My Story
I didn’t know where I’d land—I just knew I couldn’t keep drifting.
I grew up in foster care from the age of two. My dad was in prison; I met him for the first time outside a liquor store. My mom struggled, and I was the only one of my siblings placed in foster care. At eleven, a violent night at my mom’s turned into court without support beyond my grandmother. At thirteen, I lost my best friend to a drunk driver. I quit on myself—walked away from a college scholarship, ran to a cruise ship job, and tried to outrun the pain as fast as I could.
Two years after I came home from the ship, on the day my wife and I left to get married in Tahiti, my childhood home burned down. That fire was my wake-up call: no one was coming to save me. Life is fragile. What I do with the time I’m given is on me.
I’ve been telling stories my whole life.
I learned that the story you tell is the story you live. Mine shifted from “lost at sea” to “becoming a lighthouse.” That shift didn’t happen overnight—it started with telling the truth, then choosing a different response, one small decision at a time.

My Story
Hi, I’m Jenny Patton—coach, movement enthusiast, mindset guide, and co-founder of Inspire Change Collective. I’ve spent the last decade helping people reconnect with their bodies, rewire their beliefs, and remember their power. My background in exercise science, nutrition, and mindset coaching has taught me that real transformation happens when we align what we do with who we truly are.
Whether I’m coaching one-on-one, leading workshops, or holding space for our community, I’m here to help you move through resistance, rewrite your story, and show up fully for the life you’re meant to lead. I believe in the magic of intention, the power of presence, and the beauty of becoming—one breath, one breakthrough, and one brave step at a time.

Our Journey
After the fire at our house, we did the work together—mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual—and laid a foundation we could stand on. Over the next decade, our work included 1,500+ coaching sessions with hundreds of clients. We grew stronger together, moved to Austin, bought a fully converted van, and ran workshops across the country. In 2023, we came back to California to help Eric’s grandmother with her health. Eighteen months later, Eric’s then-15-year-old brother asked to live with us; after hard conversations and clear structure, we helped him turn his life around. Now we’re expecting our first daughter in October 2025, another adventure that we’re incredibly grateful to experience.
We share this not to impress you, but to show what’s possible when you stop running and start responding. Today, we help leaders build lives they can rely on—steady under pressure, clear in purpose, and useful to others. We won’t row your boat. We’ll give you the tools to set your course, keep your light on, and make it to shore.
